1. How much is a pixel?Each pixel costs $5.00 USD. If your pictures are not up in four hours, your pixel is free! Restrictions do apply. This promotion is good Monday through Friday, 6:00am through 12:00am, Pacific Standard Time. 2. Why can't I buy more than one pixel?We want to have as many different people on the site as possible. We don't want to have one person or a group of people dominating the site. One pixel per person guarantees that! 3. Why can't I have letters or words instead of pictures?This site isn't for advertising. If you want to advertise, go to pixelsforus.com 4. What happens if someone objects to my picture?If the picture is copyrighted and the copyright holder provides us with proof, we will IMMEDIATELY take the picture down. You will be given 48 hours to put another picture up. If you fail to do so within 48 hours, you will loose your pixel WITHOUT getting a refund! We are not into censorship but we will protect our vision for the site completely! 5. How can I get a refund?You cant! That is why you can only buy one pixel. We aren't giving any refunds. If you don't want to spend the money, don't purchase a pixel!
6. How long will my picture be on the site?The site will be up forever baring death of the owners or a dissolution of the company. So unless you take the picture down, it will be there FOREVER!!!!
7. What links are banned from your site?Any links to pornographic, political, right wing, racist, , or offensive material will be IMMEDIATELY removed and you will have 48 hours to put the correct link up. If you fail to do so within 48 hours, you will lose your pixel without a refund! The decision as to what is offensive is at the discretion of our Content Management Team. You only get one chance to replace a banned link or picture. The second time, you will lose the pixel and not be given a refund. 8. What pictures if any are prohibited on the site?The only pictures that are prohibited on the site are those pictures that show nudity, show illegal activities, and those pictures that are copyright protected. Also any ANIMATED PICTURES are banned from the site, PERIOD!
9. Is there an age limit on who can purchase a pixel?There is no age limit for anyone wanting to put a picture on our site. All they need to do is purchase a pixel and post their picture!
10. How do I buy a pixel?To purchase a pixel, place your mouse's cursor over a pixel(a box on the screen) and click on it. A "buy or redo" option will appear on the screen. Click "buy" and you will be taken to page where you fill in all of the information what you want to have connected to the picture. This information includes a contact name, an email address, a brief description, and a web site address (url). You will then be taken to Paypal where you can complete the purchase the a pixel. 11. How can a picture fit on a pixel?When you upload a picture, the software automatically resizes the picture to fit into the pixel, regardless of the size of the picture. You will be able to preview the pixel before you purchase it. But remember, you have 48 hours to put a picture up after purchase or you WILL LOSE THE PIXEL WITHOUT GETTING A REFUND!
12. Why does it take 4 hours for my picture to be placed on the site?We need to make sure the pictures are in the right file format (.gif or .jpg) and the right size. If the pictures need resizing, we need time to do that! We also want to make sure the pictures don't violate the Terms and Agreement of this site nor is the web site or Myspace link inappropriate!
13. Can I change my picture once I put it on the site?No. Once the picture is on the site, it is there for good unless you want us to take it down. You will lose your pixel and it will be made available to the public. The only way you can change the picture is by sending us an email Pixelusin and paying another $5.00. Make sure that the picture you place on the site is the one you want to be on the site!!!
